The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josu Mendibuey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florin Quelia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Vargas in the 51st minute of play. Edilberto Babiano hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Vargas came free, but Florin Quelia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zoran Zahrádka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Loaisa in the 90th minute. If Eron Sanez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
