Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julián Alvarez in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Galindo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Peli took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregorio Diagur. Gregorio Diagur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Marco Peli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gregorio Diagur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes COSQUIN SFC got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Richie. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Julián Alvarez put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gustavo Galindo. After 27 minutes, Miguel Borja made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lorenzo Candelario hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 1-3 became the score in the 32nd minute when Darwin Nuñez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Miguel Borja charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Borja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, COSQUIN SFC's Miguel Borja got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Marco Peli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half COSQUIN SFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Izotz was the one to do the kick off. If Darwin Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 52 minutes into the match, Julián Alvarez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustavo Galindo, 1-4. After having played for 55 minutes, Darwin Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. COSQUIN SFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darwin Nuñez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Aquilino Richie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Gustavo Galindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustavo Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Aquilino Richie lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Gustavo Galindo. Julián Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute, Julián Alvarez made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Galindo. Candelaria FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. In the 79th minute Aquilino Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Everardo Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Julián Alvarez notched a goal, 1-9, to the right of Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo. COSQUIN SFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
