Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aureliano Izotz started the match with the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Gustavo Galindo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 6th minute Aureliano Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Quelia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Tulio to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Tulio. 15 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Diz came free, but Gustavo Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Diz in the 17th minute of play. If Eron Sanez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustavo Galindo came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Dragón F.C's Josu Mendibuey. But to his dismay, Josu Mendibuey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Golden Dragón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magdaleno Revenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Galindo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eron Sanez went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Alfredo Tulio got a free kick in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Golden Dragón F.C's Edelmiro Diz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustavo Galindo. That made the score 3-0 after 32 minutes of play. When Nalo Cambas fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Golden Dragón F.C's protests and gave Nalo Cambas a yellow card for diving instead. Nalo Cambas kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Edelmiro Diz took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Galindo. Gustavo Galindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Josu Mendibuey took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Gustavo Galindo to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Gustavo Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eron Sanez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 59 minutes, Josu Mendibuey made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eron Sanez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Galindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Nalo Cambas was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Golden Dragón F.C's Nalo Cambas got a free kick in the 74th minute. Florin Quelia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Izotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Golden Dragón F.C booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Henrico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Magdaleno Revenga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Galindo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Diz notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo. Gustavo Galindo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edelmiro Diz took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Galindo. Gustavo Galindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Golden Dragón F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Candelaria FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
