Florin Quelia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julián Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxi Meza in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florin Quelia saved Golden Dragón F.C from getting behind. Florin Quelia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darwin Nuñez in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of COSQUIN SFC booed when Golden Dragón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fe Montealegre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregorio Diagur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josu Mendibuey went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Eron Sanez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julián Alvarez to make the kick off. Florin Quelia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxi Meza in the 51st minute of play. Edelmiro Diz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magdaleno Revenga in the 62nd minute of play forced COSQUIN SFC's goalkeeper Gregorio Diagur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julián Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Florin Quelia made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Maxi Meza sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the match, Julián Alvarez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Florin Quelia, 1-1. Darwin Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Quelia having to interfere. COSQUIN SFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
