Narciso Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernan Ibon made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Braulio Neto sent off a good shot on target. Fernan Ibon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Crispo in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Vargas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernan Ibon. Candelaria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Vargas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fernan Ibon was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Narciso Jesco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Narciso Jesco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 30th minute Elvio Crispo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zoran Zahrádka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Izotz in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Candelaria FC's Fernan Ibon got control of the ball when Braulio Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zuberbühler FC's Zoran Zahrádka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Izotz in the 37th minute of play. Fernan Ibon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Crispo in the 38th minute of the match. Candelaria FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Wilfredo Vargas scored to the left of an out of position Fernan Ibon, making the score, 3-0.

The wind increased when Wilfredo Vargas made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Zuberbühler FC's Jorge Ponc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernan Ibon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Fernan Ibon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Vargas went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After 58 minutes, Carmelo Cordario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candelaria FC and the Zuberbühler FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carmelo Cordario kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Fernan Ibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernan Ibon came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Zuberbühler FC's Braulio Neto. But to his dismay, Braulio Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Narciso Jesco might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernan Ibon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Jesco ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Crispo in the 67th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Fernan Ibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria FC's zone, Narciso Jesco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Ibon came out of the goal and Narciso Jesco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Braulio Neto took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernan Ibon. Fernan Ibon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Fernan Ibon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Zoran Zahrádka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Galindo. Fernan Ibon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Elvio Crispo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Roman Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Wilfredo Vargas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zuberbühler FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. 85 minutes into the match, Braulio Neto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernan Ibon. Candelaria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. After 90 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Crispo. When the referee ended the match the Zuberbühler FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
