In the 5th minute of the match Taltum FC got a corner. Jereba 4EVER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ordóñez Cuesta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Jereba 4EVER booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Velarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jereba 4EVER's Glauco Damião managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ordóñez Cuesta in the 17 minute of the game. After having played for 19 minutes, Hortêncio de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jereba 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hortêncio de Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raúl Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jimmy Broz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taltum FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Márcio Cruz scored to the left of an out of position Jimmy Broz, making the score, 2-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Ricardo Velarroa put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Taltum FC's Ricardo Velarroa got a free kick in the 36th minute. Fabio Rallo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Márcio Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márcio Cruz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jimmy Broz came out and tried to block the shot, but Márcio Cruz slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Rallo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Dieguinho Viana successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Taltum FC's Jimmy Broz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Rocha in the 54th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Márcio Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jereba 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Cruz in the 76th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Jimmy Broz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Jereba 4EVER's Hortêncio de Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimmy Broz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Reynaldo Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Franklin Polo made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Jereba 4EVER's Glauco Damião.
