After a rather tough play, De Boedo Vengo's Severino Vargas got a free kick in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Jon Hagström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Rosario. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Severino Vargas hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Lázaro Cordarius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Sazon. ORIZABA F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Cordarius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s Victorino Primo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Hagström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jon Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Pero, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 20 minutes, Emilio Rico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Boedo Vengo and the ORIZABA F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Emilio Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Vargas scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Sazon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When ORIZABA F.C.'s Victorino Primo in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Severino Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Lluciano to make the kick off. ORIZABA F.C.'s Gervasio Sazon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Cordarius in the 51st minute of play. Gervasio Sazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Cibran, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Jon Hagström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Primo in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Gervasio Sazon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Cordarius. Gervasio Sazon made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Lázaro Cordarius sent off a good shot on target. Timoteo Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Paulo Lluciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Sazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Hagström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Primo's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Primo in the 73rd minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Jon Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Victorino Primo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jon Hagström was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Jon Hagström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Rosario in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Victorino Primo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ORIZABA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Primo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Lluciano during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Lluciano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Primo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Hagström saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. With a little luck, ORIZABA F.C.'s Gervasio Sazon got control of the ball when Lázaro Cordarius tried to sneak it across the goal line. When ORIZABA F.C.'s Victorino Primo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
