Cirilo Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnau Zárate in the 6th minute of the match. Cirilo Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hondo Roman in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Hondo Roman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cirilo Frichoso was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Cirilo Frichoso came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Getafe Deportivo's Hondo Roman. But to his dismay, Hondo Roman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cirilo Frichoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mahoma Abrego went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Merengue FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jacinto Frascuelo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hondo Roman in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cirilo Frichoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Club Getafe Deportivo's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Victoro came free, but Renato Rivera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hondo Roman took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cirilo Frichoso. Cirilo Frichoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Cirilo Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hondo Roman in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Hondo Roman made the kick off in the second half. Eustaquio Iraido's late challenge caught a Club Getafe Deportivo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Iraido helped the player get up and apologised. Eustaquio Iraido hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Adán Villar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cirilo Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnau Zárate in the 60th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Frichoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnau Zárate came free, but Cirilo Frichoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Marco Lonzo got a free kick in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Hondo Roman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cirilo Frichoso was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Hondo Roman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Getafe Deportivo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 77thth minute of the game Hondo Roman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merengue FC's Cirilo Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hondo Roman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Belarmino Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Frichoso having to interfere. 1-6 became the score in the 83rd minute when Licerio Cano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Mahoma Abrego kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cirilo Frichoso. That made the score 1-7 in the 86 minute of play. Licerio Cano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Hondo Roman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Club Getafe Deportivo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Merengue FC.
