In the 4th minute Cayetano Ihintza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Proia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Di Marco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Carolo Ruisko made a huge save. Cayetano Ihintza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Proia having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cayetano Ihintza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fortunato Proia was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Acuña in the 28th minute of play forced Cesate's goalkeeper Fortunato Proia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Machine Gun Kelly's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Basilio Pello in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Demetrio Borrelli notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Machine Gun Kelly's Carolo Ruisko. Carolo Ruisko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cesate were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Machine Gun Kelly's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adriano Di Marco took the corner. Demetrio Borrelli struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Carolo Ruisko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cesate. In the 43rd match minute, Machine Gun Kelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Ishmael to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nemesio Acuña stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Machine Gun Kelly got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Acuña. After a defensive mix-up in Cesate's zone, Cayetano Ihintza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Proia came out of the goal and Cayetano Ihintza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Moises Venceslas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cesate's Fortunato Proia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesate's Fortunato Proia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Ihintza in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Donato Di Renzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cesate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Di Renzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67th play minutes Eraldo Di Matteo shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Carolo Ruisko and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basilio Pello during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Basilio Pello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Ishmael hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ennio Grasso struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Carolo Ruisko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cesate. The supporters of Machine Gun Kelly booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Di Matteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Cesate were the better team. Cesate's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
