After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Adrian Reno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Rose 1979's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Reno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zacarias Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Black Rose 1979's zone, Luís Eduardo Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Abreu came out of the goal and Luís Eduardo Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Eduardo Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Zacarias Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doriva de Queirós came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Black Rose 1979's Maximiliano Dalmu. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Dalmu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Maximiliano Dalmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurinho Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Zacarias Abreu made a huge save. Doriva de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Dalmu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurinho Valadares during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Moisés Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moisés Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Black Rose 1979 booed when Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Oxel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Doriva de Queirós. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

André da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Leonardo Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Maurinho Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Abreu having to interfere. Doriva de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Reno in the 75th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
