Anderson Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aires Villaelrriego having to interfere. Aires Villaelrriego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Trigo in the 15th minute of play. Anderson Valladares charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anderson Valladares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernardo Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Pardaves in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Roches came free, but Bernardo Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Rubio Poo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The No Me Inscriban Gracias fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hélder Trigo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Pardaves in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Corrêa saved Vascogoianiense FC from getting behind. Márcio Medeiros hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Renán Llantaron threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vascogoianiense FC's Márcio Medeiros quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Matheus Paraíba charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matheus Paraíba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of No Me Inscriban Gracias booed when Vascogoianiense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheus Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Lisandro Roches sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vascogoianiense FC's Bernardo Corrêa didn't even have to move. A collision led to Vascogoianiense FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Anderson Valladares hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Waldemar Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aires Villaelrriego was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cristian Pardavess short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Bernardo Corrêa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aires Villaelrriego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Bernardo Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Xavian Alamasa sent off a good shot on target. Matheus Paraíba took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aires Villaelrriego. Aires Villaelrriego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The Vascogoianiense FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
