The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felipe Salantes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavian Alamasa got free with Bernardo Corrêa in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Matheus Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vascogoianiense FC's protests and gave Matheus Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Vascogoianiense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th match minute, No Me Inscriban Gracias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saritama Soldevilla to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Salantes came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Vascogoianiense FC's Anderson Valladares. But to his dismay, Anderson Valladares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 21st match minute, Vascogoianiense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Valladares to maneuver through the defense. Anderson Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernardo Corrêa was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Xavian Alamasa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xavian Alamasa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Anderson Valladares took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Salantes. Felipe Salantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anderson Valladares to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dida Baiano during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of No Me Inscriban Gracias booed when Vascogoianiense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vascogoianiense FC's Bernardo Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Roches in the 53rd minute of play. A hard shot 55 in the game by Adhemar Lucas from a close distance when the talented Felipe Salantes managed to make a qualified save. No Me Inscriban Gracias's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Valladares in the 58th minute of play forced No Me Inscriban Gracias's goalkeeper Felipe Salantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan-Carlos Izarra in the 60th minute of play. Bernardo Corrêa had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Lisandro Roches's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Carlos Izarra in the 66th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes No Me Inscriban Gracias got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Picavea. In the 72nd minute, Matheus Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vascogoianiense FC booed when No Me Inscriban Gracias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. López Norato didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vascogoianiense FC's Dida Baiano got a free kick in the 76th minute. When López Norato fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored No Me Inscriban Gracias's protests and gave López Norato a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot by Adhemar Lucas from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Felipe Salantes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Vascogoianiense FC's Bernardo Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubio Poo in the 80th minute of play. Saritama Soldevilla's late challenge caught a Vascogoianiense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saritama Soldevilla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Saritama Soldevilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's Adhemar Lucas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 85th minute Rubio Poo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubio Poo in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vascogoianiense FC's Matheus Paraíba got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavian Alamasa in the 89th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Anderson Valladares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felipe Salantes. That made the score 1-5 in the 91 minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan-Carlos Izarra came free, but Bernardo Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
