In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Kaká Lopes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Charmander City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Froilan Galo in the 4th minute. The corner ended in Froilan Galo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes did a great save. Kaká Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Vincente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes, Oscar do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jenipapo SC and the Charmander City players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Oscar do Vale hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Luciano Frisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaká Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Frisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Luciano Frisco made a precise shot to the right of Kaká Lopes. Jenipapo SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 23 minutes into the match, Luciano Frisco notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes. Kaká Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the game, Luciano Frisco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charmander City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jenipapo SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Charmander City's Luciano Frisco got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Luciano Frisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar do Vale hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Frisco in the 34th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Kaká Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar do Vale. 39 minutes into the game, Charmander City's Luciano Frisco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaká Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Jenipapo SC's zone, Luciano Frisco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaká Lopes came out of the goal and Luciano Frisco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Magalhães to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Charmander City's Kaká Lopes threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luciano Frisco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Frisco got free with Kaká Lopes in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Luciano Frisco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kaká Lopes, 0-6. Mateus Urbano made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Charmander City's Higinio Casado. Kaká Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Frisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Luciano Frisco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Kaká Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, Luciano Frisco made a precise shot to the right of Kaká Lopes. Jenipapo SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Charmander City's Zeledon Sazon was substituted for Luciano Frisco. Charmander City's Juan Laffitte was substituted for Narciso Vincente. Charmander City's Valentim Barco was substituted for Iwan Cempa. The audience was convinced that Zeledon Sazon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaká Lopes was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Charmander City's Zeledon Sazon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kaká Lopes. Kaká Lopes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Charmander City's Juan Laffitte in the 85th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Kaká Lopes was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Jenipapo SC through an amazing save. After 87 played minutes Zeledon Sazon rounded Jenipapo SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-10. 89 minutes into the match, Charmander City's Zeledon Sazon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaká Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute of the match, Juan Laffitte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kaká Lopes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Zeledon Sazon put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Kaká Lopes.
