The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bone Sovera during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Charmander City made a substitution. In the 31st minute Luciano Frisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azul Y Plomo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charmander City the free kick. Charmander City made a substitution. Juan Laffitte replaced Narciso Vincente. Azul Y Plomo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Håland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Azul Y Plomo's Cristian Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Laffitte in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Laffitte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Laffitte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Luiz Mello came out of the goal and Reynaldo Håland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Luciano Frisco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charmander City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Luciano Frisco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charmander City's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Frisco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Diegotxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arturo Torres charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Torres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
