Perivaldo Pimenta got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Júlio Negri. Paulo de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Frisco in the 18th minute of the match. Narciso Vincentes short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Paulo de Mendonça to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arturo Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Paulo de Mendonça made a huge save. Higinio Casado got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Iwan Cempa. Luiz Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zac Ba Loua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Vincente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Paulo de Mendonça made a huge save. After some careless play in the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ defense, Luciano Frisco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo de Mendonça. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. Higinio Casado made in the 44th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Iwan Cempa immediately put the ball in play. Thomás do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Narciso Vincente made the kick off in the second half. When Júlio Negri fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's protests and gave Júlio Negri a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Frisco in the 57th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zac Ba Loua got free with Luiz Mello in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Torres in the 60th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Arturo Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo de Mendonça. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Narciso Vincente put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo de Mendonça. 67 minutes into the game, Luciano Frisco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Paulo de Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Charmander City made a substitution. Valentim Barco replaced Iwan Cempa. Charmander City made a substitution. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Zeledon Sazon sped through Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulo de Mendonça. In the 80th minute, Zeledon Sazon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo de Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Zeledon Sazon struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Paulo de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charmander City. Paulo de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Sazon in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Júlio Negri got a free kick in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Sazon came free, but Paulo de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Arturo Torres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charmander City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Júlio Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Charmander City had played much better football throughout.
