But to his dismay, Thomás do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeng Ang in the 15th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Mete Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Håland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Paulo de Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reynaldo Håland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Paulo de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Håland in the 23rd minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azul Y Plomo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rogerio Arcos in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute, Christoffer Kempel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alexander Dominguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomás do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Azul Y Plomo's Alexander Dominguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás do Valle in the 36th minute of play. Şofiq Macías charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şofiq Macías the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Şofiq Macías kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Kempel. Zac Ba Loua came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alexander Dominguez could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Azul Y Plomo's Zeng Ang got a free kick in the 45th minute. Alexander Dominguez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Paulo de Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Mete Gol sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the game, Rogerio Arcos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Azul Y Plomo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rio Verde F.C CIMZ the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Gol in the 64th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when Azul Y Plomo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şofiq Macías didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Thomás do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Dominguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Reynaldo Håland reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo de Mendonça. The goal made the score 2-2. Christoffer Kempel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás do Valle in the 79th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Azul Y Plomo got a freekick which was hit by Mete Gol. 85 minutes into the game, Thomás do Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Alexander Dominguez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Atahuallpa Quito had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Zac Ba Loua fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's protests and gave Zac Ba Loua a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zac Ba Loua to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fully deserved thier win.
