In the 6th minute, Jurand Deput reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felipe Guzman. The goal made the score 2-0. Blas Quiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Abel Galo's late challenge caught a RB Chubut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Galo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute Jurand Deput shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Guzman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute RB Chubut were awarded a corner. Luís Advíncula went to the cornerflag to take it. Aldo Mikolas charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Mikolas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aldo Mikolas kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jørgen Waage was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Mikolas. RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Mambru in the 55th minute of play. Martin Silvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Vassenius having to interfere. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalkeeper Felipe Guzman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Isaac Mingo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Guzman was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 67th minute Isaac Mingo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Guzman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Isaac Mingo made a precise shot to the right of Felipe Guzman. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. If Jørgen Waage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute RB Chubut were awarded a corner. Luís Advíncula went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luís Advíncula got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felipe Guzman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 86 minutes into the match, Isaac Mingo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Guzman. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Mingo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Mingo in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Guzman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because RB Chubut had won, even though Atletico Calamar Saavedra had held more of the ball.
