Gheorghe Comănescu came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Di Röe's Gerard Tan. But to his dismay, Gerard Tan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Sebastian Purje had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Lundin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Gheorghe Comănescu made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Hope AFC's goalkeeper Gheorghe Comănescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerard Tan. Gheorghe Comănescu was a little too slow when Gerard Tan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 3-0. Gheorghe Comănescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gerard Tan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 28 minute of play. Hope AFC's Gheorghe Comănescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Hope AFC from getting a goal against them. Valentin Hâjdău charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Hâjdău the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Valentin Hâjdău hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gheorghe Comănescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gerard Tan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 33 minute of play. Gheorghe Comănescu was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Arnaldo da Fonseca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnaldo da Fonseca really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. 39 minutes into the game, Arnaldo da Fonseca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gheorghe Comănescu. Arnaldo da Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. When Di Röe's Zinédine Židan in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hope AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gheorghe Comănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo da Fonseca in the 48th minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaldo da Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. Gheorghe Comănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Sebastian Purje's late challenge caught a Di Röe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Barbu during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gheorghe Comănescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mikael Lundin went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute Zinédine Židan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Comănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Zhu Bin Le. In the 73rd minute Mikael Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Comănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A wasted opportunity for Di Röe. 89 minutes into the match, Hope AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Tan came free, but Gheorghe Comănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zinédine Židan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gheorghe Comănescu was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Gheorghe Comănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo da Fonseca in the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Di Röe had played much better football throughout.
