A sloppy throw-in by Juan Sorin in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Villa Mitre City's Lucas Emenon. 15 minutes into the match, Jurand Deput notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Villa Mitre City's Filiberto Nofre. Filiberto Nofre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robert Vassenius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Qwinton's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jurand Deput during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, RB Chubut's Jurand Deput got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 34 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Bibiano. Robert Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Ariando in the 35th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Villa Mitre City got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Medardo. Robert Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Ariando in the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jurand Deput was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Jurand Deput got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Filiberto Nofre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Jurand Deput cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Filiberto Nofre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Villa Mitre City's Filiberto Nofre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Villa Mitre City from getting a goal against them. Filiberto Nofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Deput, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiberto Nofre came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by RB Chubut's Jurand Deput. But to his dismay, Jurand Deput quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Humberto Herensuge kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Aaron Anselmino sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Villa Mitre City's Filiberto Nofre didn't even have to move. Geronimo Beti lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Filiberto Nofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Deput, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jurand Deput's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filiberto Nofre was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. A collision led to Villa Mitre City getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Lucas Emenon hit a great ball. Filiberto Nofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Deput, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Mikolas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, RB Chubut's Bogdan Lenertej got a free kick in the 97th minute. Robert Vassenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Endura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Villa Mitre City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching RB Chubut's performance. The match ended with a win for RB Chubut.
