Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Per Kjellberg got the match started through his kick off. Delmiro Mambru might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gheorghe Comănescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Mambru ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th match minute, Atletico Calamar Saavedra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Olentzaro to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Guzman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Kjellberg in the 9th minute of play. Felipe Guzman made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Per Kjellberg sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Hope AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atletico Calamar Saavedra:s goal. Hope AFC's Gheorghe Comănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Olentzaro in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Feliberto Olentzaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gheorghe Comănescu. Hope AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliberto Olentzaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 27 minutes into the game, Jørgen Waage cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gheorghe Comănescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gheorghe Comănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jørgen Waage, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hope AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emmanuel Santiago was slow to take the kick. During this time Atletico Calamar Saavedra's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Silvio Miro drilling the ball in to score 0-4 behind Hope AFC's goalkeeper. 36 minutes into the match, Hope AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Miro came free, but Gheorghe Comănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Delmiro Mambru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Gheorghe Comănescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adrian Tâbârnă struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Felipe Guzman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hope AFC. After having played for 45 minutes, Fulgencio Nel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Nel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gheorghe Comănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After a defensive mix-up in Hope AFC's zone, Jørgen Waage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gheorghe Comănescu came out of the goal and Jørgen Waage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Jørgen Waage made a precise shot to the right of Gheorghe Comănescu. Hope AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 57th minute, Delmiro Mambru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Per Kjellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Guzman having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Sebastian Purje hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Feliberto Olentzaro got a free kick in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Jørgen Waage recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gheorghe Comănescu. Jørgen Waage showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. A collision led to Hope AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Irinel Ciupe hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Delmiro Mambru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gheorghe Comănescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Jørgen Waage struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Gheorghe Comănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Calamar Saavedra. Jørgen Waage scored 0-9 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gheorghe Comănescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Delmiro Mambru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guaberto Peruanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Feliberto Olentzaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gheorghe Comănescu came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Jørgen Waage. But to his dismay, Jørgen Waage quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10.
