Sebastian Purje might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hans Österlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Purje ran back to his position shaking his head. When Arnaldo da Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Di Röe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Gerard Tan took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gheorghe Comănescu. Gheorghe Comănescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 21 minutes, Arnaldo da Fonseca made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Hope AFC's Gheorghe Comănescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Hope AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Tan came free, but Gheorghe Comănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernest Zburlea during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kent Gunnarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Di Röe's Arnaldo da Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hope AFC's Gheorghe Comănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Tan in the 40th minute of play. Gheorghe Comănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Di Röe getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Zhu Bin Le hit a great ball. The supporters of Di Röe booed when Hope AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Kjellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Per Kjellberg made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Hope AFC's Per Kjellberg made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hans Österlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hans Österlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Kjellberg in the 60th minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Di Röe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhu Bin Le to maneuver through the defense. Gheorghe Comănescu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bedih Rafet. When Arnaldo da Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Di Röe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Di Röe's Gheorghe Comănescu threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnaldo da Fonseca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Timmy Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per Kjellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Di Röe could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hope AFC throughout the match.
