RB Chubut's Aldo Mikolas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lucas Emenon, made in the 5th minute of the game. RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Qwinton in the 10th minute of play. RB Chubut's Jurand Deput got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Villa Mitre City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Raymond to maneuver through the defense. Jurand Deput blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Senio having to make a save. Claudio Senio made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Jurand Deput sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Emenon kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Deput in the 24th minute of play forced Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Claudio Senio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Qwinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Emenon's late challenge caught a RB Chubut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Emenon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre City's Lucas Emenon got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Claudio Senio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jurand Deput. Villa Mitre City's Claudio Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Deput in the 32nd minute of play. If Jurand Deput had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of RB Chubut booed when Villa Mitre City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Endura didn't get a good kick on the ball. RB Chubut's Aaron Anselmino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Villa Mitre City. Villa Mitre City's Lucas Emenon got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Lucas Emenon off the ground. RB Chubut's Isaac Mingo was substituted for Jurand Deput. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Qwinton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robert Vassenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Medardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Mingo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Senio having to make a save. Claudio Senio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaac Mingo's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Claudio Senio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Mingo went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute, Gabríel Batistuta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69thth minute of the game Isaac Mingo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Mitre City's Claudio Senio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Isaac Mingo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Claudio Senio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the game, Isaac Mingo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Claudio Senio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the game, RB Chubut's Isaac Mingo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Senio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 87th minute Guaberto Bibiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Senio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Senio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the game, Isaac Mingo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RB Chubut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Mitre City the free kick. After 94 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Mingo. Geronimo Beti kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Villa Mitre City defense, Isaac Mingo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Senio. The Villa Mitre City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Senio should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Villa Mitre City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RB Chubut.
