Real Cruzeiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beniamin Cichewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 21st minute Beniamin Cichewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislaw Okraszewski's late challenge caught a Real Cruzeiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Godofredo Fe managed to get in a good position for a shot. CKS Zbiersk's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Fe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivo Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Spyros Serafidis got free with Ivo Amaral in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute of the match, Du Liang Ang got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivo Amaral was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 81st minute of the game Belmiro Urbano made a throw-in which Luís Guilherme Cabral played forward. 84 minutes into the match, Beniamin Cichewski notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Real Cruzeiro FC's Ivo Amaral. Ivo Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Spyros Serafidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivo Amaral having to make a save. Ivo Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remi Nischev in the 96th minute. CKS Zbiersk's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
