C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Urbano to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Cícero da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuca Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Melquiades Amor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pégasus F. C.. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cícero da Costa made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pégasus F. C.'s zone, Arí Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dráusio Pitta came out of the goal and Arí Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melquiades Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 69th minute Samuca Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Pégasus F. C.'s Dráusio Pitta got control of the ball when Felippe Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Du hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match.
