A collision led to LA VIOLA getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Arif Gaffar Kızıl hit a great ball. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Sílvio Luiz Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maria Lunden in the 15th minute of play. Sérgio Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Sifon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nacho Abril kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Sílvio Luiz Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maria Lunden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Sérgio Urbano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Sifon. In the 27th minute Rutger Westerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Carlos Manuel Jeréz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Sifon kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 35thth minute. Though ot was a great shot LA VIOLA's keeper Sérgio Urbano was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Vermudo Ortiz got a free kick in the 39th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Nicolás Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid de Guatemala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolás Guerrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Nicolás Guerrero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sérgio Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Sérgio Urbano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Sifon. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sérgio Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolás Guerrero in the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Anselmo Nazario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid de Guatemala's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Nazario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Urbano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nicolás Guerrero came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Real Madrid de Guatemala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolás Guerrero couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Sifon in the 61st minute of play forced LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Sérgio Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes of play, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Cristian Santamaria made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Urbano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolás Guerrero came free, but Sérgio Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Sifon took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Urbano. Sérgio Urbano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Sifon in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Urbano saved LA VIOLA from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Santamaria in the 81st minute of play forced LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Sérgio Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Sifon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Sifon in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Urbano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Real Madrid de Guatemala were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after LA VIOLA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolás Guerrero took the corner. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Cristian Santamaria got a free kick in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Madrid de Guatemala fully deserved thier win.
