Marian Michna started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Koralp Yıldırım in the 2nd minute of play forced Zgierskie Zlewy's goalkeeper Jan Andrzejewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 4 minutes on the clock, Bülent Tayguner commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of LİONS PEAK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zgierskie Zlewy:s goal. Jan Andrzejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erkan Cangur in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match LİONS PEAK got a corner. Zgierskie Zlewy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cihangir Ertaş ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on LİONS PEAK's corner Cihangir Ertaş fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jan Andrzejewski quite easily take care of the ball. Jedrzej Kempski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuncay Eldem having to interfere. After 16 played minutes LİONS PEAK got a freekick which was hit by İlmi Şahabeddin. The supporters of Zgierskie Zlewy booed when LİONS PEAK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bünyamin Ergüner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Andrzejewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Koralp Yıldırım, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of LİONS PEAK booed when Zgierskie Zlewy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Literski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erkan Cangur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jan Andrzejewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Marian Michna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zgierskie Zlewy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Michna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erkan Cangur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute Napoleon Literski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuncay Eldem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bünyamin Ergüner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan Andrzejewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Bünyamin Ergüner slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 70th minute. In the 82nd minute, Mustafa Necati Köksal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Marian Michna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Marian Michna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zgierskie Zlewy's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Michna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tuncay Eldem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Andrzejewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erkan Cangur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Zgierskie Zlewy's zone, Erkan Cangur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Andrzejewski came out of the goal and Erkan Cangur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
