In the 8th minute Baltasar Pascua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match Picanya FC got a corner. UFC Puturoasa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hans Halman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ruslan Pânzaru kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in UFC Puturoasa's zone, Hans Halman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petr Čech came out of the goal and Hans Halman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastiano Treviño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Vanghele in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to UFC Puturoasa getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cornel Vornic hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in UFC Puturoasa's zone, Jerico Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petr Čech came out of the goal and Jerico Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25th play minutes Baltasar Pascua shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Petr Čech and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 28th match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Pascua to maneuver through the defense. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerico Ramos in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Sângeorzan in the 36th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Sebastiano Treviño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Reyes in the 42nd minute of play forced UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Petr Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes UFC Puturoasa got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Vornic. In the 46th minute, Anartz Gutierrez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petr Čech was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerico Ramos made a kick off. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Reyes in the 56th minute of play. UFC Puturoasa's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Reyes in the 59th minute of play. Picanya FC's Sebastiano Treviño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexei Caraman in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Edgard Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, UFC Puturoasa's Cornel Vornic got a free kick in the 68th minute. A hard shot by Hans Halman from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Petr Čech's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Petr Čech didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerico Ramos went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Edgard Reyes might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petr Čech. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard Reyes ran back to his position shaking his head. After 75 played minutes UFC Puturoasa got a freekick which was hit by Victor Grimalschi. Hans Halman, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. UFC Puturoasa's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Reyes in the 81st minute of play. Petr Čech didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgard Reyes went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute Jerico Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Reyes in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Čech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 91 played minutes UFC Puturoasa got a freekick which was hit by Victor Grimalschi. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Picanya FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
