But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Gagriel couldn't finish the play. Saul Gagriel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Lichucki having to interfere. Anthony Hopkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th match minute, El Stradivarius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Gagriel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 26 minutes, Saul Gagriel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Stradivarius's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Gagriel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, El Stradivarius's Tolek Lichucki threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saul Gagriel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of El Stradivarius booed when Aarhus & Targówek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Kolacki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Hopkins in the 44th minute of play. Saul Gagriel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anthony Hopkins to make the kick off. In the 76th minute Saul Gagriel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Lichucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Mateusz Kuszczak threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Stradivarius's Camilo Incendio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 90 minutes into the game, Anthony Hopkins recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Agustin Marquez. Anthony Hopkins showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The Aarhus & Targówek FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aarhus & Targówek FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
