Atlético Ourense's Seve Dobale got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Unai Calatayud kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Tello AFC booed when Atlético Ourense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olo Cabanela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Ourense's Indartsu Sarro got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unai Calatayud in the 15th minute of play forced Tello AFC's goalkeeper Donato Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Tello AFC defense, Seve Dobale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Paublo. The Tello AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Paublo should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute Unai Calatayud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tello AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Saverio Cristofor hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Fabio Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerrold Valcarcel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tello AFC's Donato Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seve Dobale in the 29th minute of play. Virgilio Baristo charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Baristo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute Seve Dobale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tello AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Indartsu Sarro was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Ourense's players had a chance to rest. 39 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Unai Calatayud came free, but Donato Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Kismi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jerrold Valcarcel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tello AFC's Virgilio Baristo got a free kick in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Donato Paublo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seve Dobale's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Seve Dobale came free, but Donato Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Paublo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Unai Calatayud in the 62nd minute. Donato Paublo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Unai Calatayud sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Tello AFC's Donato Paublo got control of the ball when Unai Calatayud tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Seve Dobale reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Donato Paublo. The goal made the score 0-4.
