The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ronaldão Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Sandrinho Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Militros F.C.'s Sandrinho Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erland Spetz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Militros F.C.'s Wanderson Valencia in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Måns Wallin made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gustav Engström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Cunha in the 41st minute of play forced Kurdistan CF's goalkeeper Erland Spetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erland Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson Valencia, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kurdistan CF's goalkeeper Erland Spetz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Kämpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kurdistan CF's Erland Spetz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Kurdistan CF from getting a goal against them. Måns Wallin kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Ronaldão Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sandrinho Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erland Spetz having to interfere. Paulão Freire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erland Spetz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Paulão Freire took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Erland Spetz to make any attempt to save it. In the 70th match minute, Kurdistan CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Wallin to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldão Silva struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Erland Spetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Militros F.C.. Xalbador Sparke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Ove Sandström kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Erland Spetz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulão Freire went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the game, Paulão Freire was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Militros F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kurdistan CF the free kick. When the match was over Militros F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kurdistan CF throughout the match.
