But to his dismay, Leo Ursino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mario Bernabel's late challenge caught a Abuba Akotonon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Bernabel helped the player get up and apologised. Mario Bernabel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Ursino in the 21st minute of play forced Milferio's goalkeeper Ruperto Cresenciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Tximitx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Vasco in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Valentín Barco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abuba Akotonon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 36th minute, Rodolfo Páez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ariel Tximitx. The goal made the score 1-2. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Herena to make the kick off. Ariel Tximitx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Páez, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 59 minutes, Clemente Herena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abuba Akotonon FC and the Milferio players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 76 minutes, Silvio Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abuba Akotonon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Quinteros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Páez came free, but Ariel Tximitx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentín Barco hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Abuba Akotonon FC's Nicolás Valentini was substituted for Aarón Anselmino.
