Norberto de Brito's late challenge caught a Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto de Brito helped the player get up and apologised. Bruninho Arósio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Valdomiro Duarte put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mastur Bandov.
