Ahmet Hasan Tanju hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gold Raiders FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Koray Karadeniz hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s Filipe Mendonça broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Serafim Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faruk Ceyhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orkun Okanalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafim Mesquita having to make a save. Serafim Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hasan Tanju in the 12th minute of play. Baturhan Erozan took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafim Mesquita. Serafim Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Várzea F.C. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Albertinho Travassos hit a great ball. Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faruk Ceyhan in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdomiro Duarte got free with Resul Yalın in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baturhan Erozan in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Gold Raiders FC's Resul Yalın got control of the ball when Valdomiro Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Faruk Ceyhan came free, but Serafim Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gold Raiders FC booed when Várzea F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdomiro Duarte in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Resul Yalın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 played minutes Várzea F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Arósio. A collision led to Várzea F.C. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Filipe Mendonça hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, Norberto de Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Várzea F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gold Raiders FC the free kick. A collision led to Várzea F.C. getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Norberto de Brito hit a great ball. Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faruk Ceyhan in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Alessandro Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafim Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faruk Ceyhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th match minute, Gold Raiders FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orkun Okanalp to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Gold Raiders FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdomiro Duarte to make the kick off. Serafim Mesquita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baturhan Erozan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. Resul Yalın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jailson Koehler fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Várzea F.C.'s protests and gave Jailson Koehler a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Várzea F.C.'s Jailson Koehler got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 69th minute Ahmet Hasan Tanju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Gold Raiders FC's Atabek Abide tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Valdomiro Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Ahmet Hasan Tanju cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Serafim Mesquita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faruk Ceyhan kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 87thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Várzea F.C.'s keeper Serafim Mesquita was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 89th minute, Albertinho Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Várzea F.C. from getting a goal against them. Faruk Ceyhan had several of the Várzea F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 95 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Serafim Mesquita as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Gold Raiders FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gold Raiders FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
