Sefa Rahmet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ákos Bihari in the 8th minute of the match. Abdi Mehmet Türk hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB got a freekick which was hit by Abdi Mehmet Türk. After a rather tough play, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Hasan Ali Burçak got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A collision led to 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Abdi Saygın Kuthan hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Mert Kerdiğe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Budapest booed when 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasan Ali Burçak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes, FC Budapest's Ignác Selymes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sefa Rahmet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Budapest reached it. 33 minutes into the game, Zekeriya Hür was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Budapest the free kick. After a rather tough play, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Zekeriya Hür got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Sefa Rahmet was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ignác Selymes. Bálint Hellinger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vural Sağlamer went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miklós Fehér to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Viktor Edelényi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Dušan Tadić shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bálint Hellinger but with some difficulty. Sefa Rahmet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Edelényi in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Budapest's goalkeeper Bálint Hellinger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bálint Hellinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vural Sağlamer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zekeriya Hür got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of FC Budapest booed when 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zekeriya Hür didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Félix Kis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sefa Rahmet skillfully saved the ball. Botond Kutasi made in the 65th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Miklós Fehér immediately put the ball in play. Sefa Rahmet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ákos Bihari in the 67th minute of the match. Sefa Rahmet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miklós Fehér, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 76th minute Ákos Bihari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sefa Rahmet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hasan Ali Burçak fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's protests and gave Hasan Ali Burçak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasan Ali Burçak to maneuver through the defense. Ignác Selymes, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Ákos Bihari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Sefa Rahmet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Ákos Bihari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sefa Rahmet. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ákos Bihari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Budapest fully deserved thier win.
