Rony de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Nahia in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Normando in the 6th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Rony de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Denílson Faria got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 14 played minutes CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11 got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Dantae. Aurelio Urritz made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Dinei Peres sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Izaltina FAD's zone, Venancio Osmundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rony de Medeiros came out of the goal and Venancio Osmundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban Harri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Rony de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino de Lima in the 25th minute of play forced CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's goalkeeper Aurelio Urritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Edorta Quintas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Urritz. CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edorta Quintas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Bernardinho de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinei Peres got free with Aurelio Urritz in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Fabio Normando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rony de Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Aurelio Urritz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edorta Quintas in the 38th minute. Rony de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Harri, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Venancio Nahia kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dinei Peres to strike the kick off in the second half. Edorta Quintas might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Urritz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edorta Quintas ran back to his position shaking his head. Izaltina FAD's Rony de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Normando in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute of the game, Gino de Lima landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Enzo Dantae got a free kick in the 57th minute. Izaltina FAD made a substitution. Jaime Cabral replaced Ricardinho Arantes. Enzo Dantae hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Edorta Quintas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Urritz having to interfere. When Alejo Benitez fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's protests and gave Alejo Benitez a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11! Izaltina FAD's Rony de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Izaltina FAD from getting a goal against them. A collision led to CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11 getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Wilfredo Veremundo hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Roberto Paulista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelio Urritz skillfully saved the ball. Gino de Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rony de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Osmundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Peres came free, but Aurelio Urritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Izaltina FAD's Dinei Peres in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's goalie prevented a goal. Edorta Quintas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Aurelio Urritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Esteban Harri got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Dinei Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Urritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gino de Lima fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Izaltina FAD's protests and gave Gino de Lima a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Gino de Lima. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
