After 15 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Goiano. AF CERRADO's Sandrinho Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogumil Gregorczyk in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Thiago Damião kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Slawomir Cholewa. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Teofil Tyskie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandrinho Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Lukasik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Bogumil Gregorczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Sabóia having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Astral's Stasio Waselenczuk got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AF CERRADO! The referee gave Astral a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Witalis Lukasik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AF CERRADO's Sandrinho Sabóia. 2-1. Tobiasz Zacharczyk hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Nestor Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Slawomir Cholewa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandrinho Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogumil Gregorczyk in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Astral's Witalis Lukasik broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tomás Schmidt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Slawomir Cholewa made a huge save. Slawomir Cholewa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaká Goiano to strike the kick off in the second half. Slawomir Cholewa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Schmidt in the 52nd minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Astral's goalkeeper Slawomir Cholewa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Kaká Goiano hit a great ball. Astral's Slawomir Cholewa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Dantas in the 72nd minute of play. Tomás Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slawomir Cholewa having to interfere. Borys Skaradowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofil Tyskie's late challenge caught a AF CERRADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofil Tyskie helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when Astral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofil Tyskie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slawomir Cholewa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Thiago Damião fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AF CERRADO's protests and gave Thiago Damião a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Thiago Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogumil Gregorczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Sandrinho Sabóia made a huge save. Stasio Waselenczuk hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AF CERRADO had won after a very even match.
