Jonatan Etxekopar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaká Goiano went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Flores AC's Gavino Perfecto got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 20 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gerber. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Damião in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Etxekopar saved Flores AC from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Etxekopar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute of the match AF CERRADO got a corner. Flores AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nestor Cordeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nestor Cordeiro made a great header on AF CERRADO's corner, it was just that Flores AC's Jonatan Etxekopar managed to reach the ball for a save. Gavino Perfecto kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40thth minute of the game Thiago Damião who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flores AC's Jonatan Etxekopar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Godfredo Beat's late challenge caught a AF CERRADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Beat helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when Flores AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Beat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Nestor Cordeiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonatan Etxekopar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute Thiago Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Etxekopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Chaime kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thiago Damião stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flores AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nestor Cordeiro was slow to take the kick. During this time AF CERRADO's players had a chance to rest. The corner led AF CERRADO's Nestor Cordeiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonatan Etxekopar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as AF CERRADO's Kaká Goiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonatan Etxekopar. That made the score 0-3 after 54 minutes of play. The supporters of Flores AC booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flores AC's Jonatan Etxekopar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Flores AC from getting a goal against them. When Kaká Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the AF CERRADO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaká Goiano couldn't finish the play. Thiago Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonatan Etxekopar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Damião in the 71st minute of the match. Godfredo Beat kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Thiago Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Beat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandrinho Sabóia having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Thiago Damião's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonatan Etxekopar was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Thiago Damião did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Jonatan Etxekopar 88 minutes into the match. Sandrinho Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Bidun, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Thiago Damião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Flores AC booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Flores AC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AF CERRADO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
