Henri Van Hespe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmacio Caldueño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis Vischkens's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. If Henri Van Hespe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Saavedra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Raymond Sutens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cebo Morejon charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cebo Morejon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 29 minutes into the game, Café DE PLOEG's I-Made 吕正岚 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmacio Caldueño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Richard Bernage got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jelle van der Eycken. Dalmacio Caldueño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Vischkens, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's Eliazar Salantes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dalmacio Caldueño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Vischkens in the 46th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Louis Vischkens was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's Santutxo Casquete got a free kick in the 61st minute. Louis Vischkens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Caldueño having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Café DE PLOEG's Dalmacio Caldueño threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from I-Made 吕正岚, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Club Olimpia's Gorbea Sasiain quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Richard Bernage, made in the 74th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Café DE PLOEG's Jullian Gijselinghs got a free kick in the 75th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Richard Bernage in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Olimpia's Gorbea Sasiain. Alan Cano's late challenge caught a Café DE PLOEG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match was over Café DE PLOEG could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Olimpia throughout the match.
