Logan McCubbin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute Eugeniusz Sokolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fergus Fairbairn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Turak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Johnston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes of play, Rangers FC's Raymond Johnston made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kajetan Turak was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the match, Logan McCubbin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Twierdza Wroclaw's Kajetan Turak. Kajetan Turak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 minutes, Eugeniusz Sokolski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Twierdza Wroclaw and the Rangers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Twierdza Wroclaw getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Boguslaw Ziemba hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Twierdza Wroclaw's goal looked a bit too open when Logan McCubbin came free, but Kajetan Turak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Rangers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tolek Bartocha to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Tolek Bartocha made a precise shot to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Rangers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. 67 minutes into the match, Logan McCubbin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kajetan Turak, 2-5. 71 minutes into the match, Tolek Bartocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Rangers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tolek Bartocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. Fergus Fairbairn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Twierdza Wroclaw. The Twierdza Wroclaw supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rangers FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rangers FC.
