Twierdza Wroclaw's Kajetan Turak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Twierdza Wroclaw from getting a goal against them. Jan Chowaniec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Bartocha in the 6th minute of play. Tolek Mochadlo's late challenge caught a Twierdza Wroclaw's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tolek Mochadlo helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes MKS MŁAWA got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Mochadlo. Tytus Zieba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jan Chowaniec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Mariusz Mroczynski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Mariusz Mroczynski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kajetan Turak. Mariusz Mroczynski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 33 played minutes MKS MŁAWA got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Wielkopolski. Kajetan Turak made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Mariusz Mroczynski sent off a good shot on target. Eugeniusz Sokolski charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugeniusz Sokolski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Eugeniusz Sokolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tolek Bartocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 63 minutes of play, MKS MŁAWA's Mariusz Mroczynski made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kajetan Turak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grzegorz Dziewulski hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Tytus Zieba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Twierdza Wroclaw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tytus Zieba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tolek Bartocha in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Chowaniec saved MKS MŁAWA from getting behind. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 71st minute, but Jan Chowaniec got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving MKS MŁAWA hanging dry this time. In the 75th minute, Mariusz Mroczynski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 minutes, Stefan Siwek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MKS MŁAWA and the Twierdza Wroclaw players grew even worse after the yellow card. 84 minutes into the match, MKS MŁAWA's goalkeeper Jan Chowaniec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tytus Zieba.
