Candelaria FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pakorro AFC the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Peli to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Galindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Rocio in the 4th minute. Isaias Murillo lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 5th minute, one of Pakorro AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pakorro AFC. Lorenzo Candelario placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Anselmo Adrio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Gustavo Galindo made a huge save. A collision led to Candelaria FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Delmar Kelemen hit a great ball. Elpidio Mino took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Galindo. Gustavo Galindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 21 minutes, Delmar Kelemen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candelaria FC and the Pakorro AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Delmar Kelemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria FC from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the game, Timoteo Corderun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gustavo Galindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Peli. After 35 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Osorio. A hard shot 41 in the game by Anselmo Adrio from a close distance when the talented Gustavo Galindo managed to make a qualified save. Candelaria FC's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Aureliano Izotz made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play Candelaria FC's Marco Peli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Marco Peli kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Anselmo Adrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner led Candelaria FC's Lorenzo Candelario to fire away a dangerous shot which Nemesio Bernal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gustavo Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Augusto Chorche hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Anselmo Adrio's late challenge caught a Candelaria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Adrio helped the player get up and apologised. Candelaria FC's Everardo Henrico shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nemesio Bernal but with some difficulty. Gustavo Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Adrio in the 75th minute of the match. If Marcos Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Pabla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Galindo having to interfere. In the 96th minute Anselmo Adrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pakorro AFC had played much better football throughout.
