Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mor Vidlák in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wágner Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 9 played minutes Vidlákov SK got a freekick which was hit by Raí Linares. 14 minutes into the match, Vidlákov SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Chute came free, but Yao Yang Peng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Misericordia EC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Vidlákov SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bob Dinamite took the corner. Caetano Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yao Yang Peng having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mor Vidlák's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wágner Ribeiro was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When Mor Vidlák came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Vidlákov SK fans jumped to their feet. The referee ignored Misericordia EC's protests and gave Zico Matamoros a yellow card for diving instead. Vidlákov SK made a substitution. Luboš Koukal replaced Rodolfo Britto. In the 39thth minute of the game Mor Vidlák who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Misericordia EC's Wágner Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bob Dinamite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Yao Yang Peng made a huge save. Misericordia EC's Wágner Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mor Vidlák in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Mor Vidlák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Misericordia EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vidlákov SK the free kick.
