Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teodosio Frans started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Plaza Jewell defense, Gabi Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saul Mannuel. The Plaza Jewell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Mannuel should have stopped the shot. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Plaza Jewell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Mannuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes, Gabi Batistuta made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Plaza Jewell's Saul Mannuel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Enzo Silviano made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Salvador Roland sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gabi Batistuta sped through Plaza Jewell's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Saul Mannuel. In the 21st minute, Gabi Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Saul Mannuel. Plaza Jewell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Saul Mannuel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Frans's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Saul Mannuel came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by La Candela FC's Gabi Batistuta. But to his dismay, Gabi Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 31st minute, Gabi Batistuta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saul Mannuel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Saul Mannuel came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Candela FC's Gabi Batistuta. But to his dismay, Gabi Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. La Candela FC's Teodosio Frans got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Enzo Silviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Orlondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Plaza Jewell's Saul Mannuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabi Batistuta in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Saul Mannuel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Plaza Jewell's Tiburcio Seber got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes, La Candela FC's Rodolfo Arruabarrena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Saul Mannuel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Candela FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Orlondo in the 60th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Enzo Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plaza Jewell's Saul Mannuel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Plaza Jewell from getting a goal against them. Gabi Batistuta did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Saul Mannuel 68 minutes into the match. La Candela FC's Jeremias Bide was substituted for Alcides Silveira. Saul Mannuel was a little too slow when Gabi Batistuta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-9. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Gabi Batistuta put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Saul Mannuel. When Gabi Batistuta came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the La Candela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabi Batistuta couldn't finish the play. La Candela FC's Enzo Silviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Orlondo in the 90th minute of play. Gabi Batistutas short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Saul Mannuel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Ademar Castro in the 97th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Saul Mannuel kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-12 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. La Candela FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
