After 6 minutes, Fabrizio Di Martino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Mims and the Doffes Damer players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Fabrizio Di Martino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damiano Strazzabosco got free with Ingvar Beckström in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Dag Norberg fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doffes Damer's protests and gave Dag Norberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Doffes Damer's Dag Norberg got a free kick in the 15th minute. Dag Norberg took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Attilio Fiordelisi. Attilio Fiordelisi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the game, Karl-Oskar Wennerquist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Attilio Fiordelisi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute Orvar Svanberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Fiordelisi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Mims's Felice Di Biagio got a free kick in the 36th minute. Orvar Svanberg's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Attilio Fiordelisi on his right side and into the goal. 36 minutes into the game it was 0-3. In the 39th match minute, FC Mims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Di Martino to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Mims defense, Jerry Nord kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Attilio Fiordelisi. The FC Mims fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attilio Fiordelisi should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute Jerry Nord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Fiordelisi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damiano Strazzabosco to make the kick off. Attilio Fiordelisi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jerry Nord showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 51 minute of play. If Dag Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dag Norberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Attilio Fiordelisi made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Karl-Oskar Wennerquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doffes Damer's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Oskar Wennerquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attilio Fiordelisi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Wennerquist in the 67th minute of play forced FC Mims's goalkeeper Attilio Fiordelisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Dag Norberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Damiano Strazzabosco managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Mims's supporters rose to their feet, but Damiano Strazzabosco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingvar Beckström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, Karl-Oskar Wennerquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Attilio Fiordelisi. FC Mims's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Oskar Wennerquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Karl-Oskar Wennerquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Attilio Fiordelisi made a huge save. In the 77th match minute, FC Mims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Panella to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Mims's zone, Jerry Nord stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attilio Fiordelisi came out of the goal and Jerry Nord tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th match minute, Doffes Damer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Norberg to maneuver through the defense. Attilio Fiordelisi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Oskar Wennerquist went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Doffes Damer's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
