After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Beto Píriz Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.A. Cachila's supporters rose to their feet, but Beto Píriz Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Mannuel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A.A. Cachila's Ernesto Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Garin in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to A.A. Cachila getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Beto Píriz Alves hit a great ball. With a little luck, A.A. Cachila's Ernesto Sesuldo got control of the ball when Salvador Roland tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saul Mannuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Píriz Alves in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Beto Píriz Alves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Saul Mannuel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Beto Píriz Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. In the 27th minute Beto Píriz Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Mannuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Beto Píriz Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Plaza Jewell's Saul Mannuel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A.A. Cachila's Ernesto Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Roland in the 40th minute of play. Kuberabandhu Komarchev was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, one of A.A. Cachila:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for A.A. Cachila. When the match had been going on for 48 minutes, Plaza Jewell's Tiburcio Seber got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ernesto Sesuldo. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Orlondo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Domingo Orlondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to A.A. In the 83rd match minute, Plaza Jewell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Roland to maneuver through the defense. Ceferino Garin charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceferino Garin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A.A. Cachila made a substitution. Victorino Cibran replaced Agustin Cordairo. A collision led to Plaza Jewell getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Aquiles Jon hit a great ball. Saul Mannuel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 97th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Victoriano Paio. A.A. Cachila's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
