In the 6th minute, FC Mims's Damiano Strazzabosco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Saul Mannuel. Saul Mannuel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 9 played minutes FC Mims got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Di Matteo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damiano Strazzabosco got free with Saul Mannuel in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Plaza Jewell's Saul Mannuel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Plaza Jewell from getting a goal against them. After 23 minutes, Fausto Scarpone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Mims and the Plaza Jewell players grew even worse after the yellow card. 22 minutes into the game, one of FC Mims:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Plaza Jewell a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tiburcio Seber, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi. 1-1. Attilio Fiordelisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Roland, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Bocchi came free, but Saul Mannuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Enrico Improta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Mims's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrico Improta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Plaza Jewell's Aquiles Jon got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Enrico Improta struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Saul Mannuel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Mims. Saul Mannuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Di Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. A collision led to FC Mims getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Felice Di Biagio hit a great ball. Salvador Roland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The supporters of Plaza Jewell booed when FC Mims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Di Biagio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes FC Mims got a freekick which was hit by Felice Di Biagio. When Salvador Roland came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Plaza Jewell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Roland couldn't finish the play. Attilio Fiordelisi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvador Roland in the 60th minute. FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save FC Mims from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Roland got free with Attilio Fiordelisi in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Plaza Jewell's Emanuel Igon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emanuel Igon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Plaza Jewell protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emanuel Igon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Enrico Improta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saul Mannuel. Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tiburcio Seber who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Attilio Fiordelisi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, FC Mims's Flavio Di Matteo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saul Mannuel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Fabrizio Di Martino made a precise shot to the right of Saul Mannuel. Plaza Jewell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Fabrizio Di Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camillo Bocchi kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, FC Mims's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Orlondo came free, but Attilio Fiordelisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th match minute, FC Mims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Di Martino to maneuver through the defense.
