Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Argentinos Juniors's Luciano Presebal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Enrique Garaona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvador Itzaina. In the 12th match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Urre to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Argentinos Juniors booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Urre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Ignazio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Atarrabi went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Nereo Tohias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donato Ignazio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Donato Ignazio came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Los Andes's Gilberto Munio. But to his dismay, Gilberto Munio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 39th minute Teodosio Guillen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Segundo Lucado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Argentinos Juniors were furious when Roberto Trotta was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The Argentinos Juniors players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atletico Los Andes were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eloy Atarrabi made a kick off. Severiano Mikeldi kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Nereo Tohias kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Enrique Garaona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 61 minutes Club Atletico Los Andes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Timoteo Gonzo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Argentinos Juniors's Timoteo Gonzo to fire away a dangerous shot which Enrique Garaona despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Club Atletico Los Andes getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Eloy Atarrabi hit a great ball. Donato Ignazio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teodosio Guillen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 66 minute of play. Club Atletico Los Andes's Eloy Atarrabi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Teodosio Guillen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Los Andes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argentinos Juniors the free kick. After 72 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Guillen. Timoteo Gonzo charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timoteo Gonzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Argentinos Juniors getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Timoteo Gonzo hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Donato Ignazio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Donato Ignazio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Guillen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Itzaina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Eloy Atarrabi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donato Ignazio, 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Guillen in the 85th minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Donato Ignazio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Teodosio Guillen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Los Andes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Guillen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Severiano Mikeldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Ignazio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Blas Raymundo. A collision led to Argentinos Juniors getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Salvador Itzaina hit a great ball. Eloy Atarrabi scored 0-8 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Ignazio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Atletico Los Andes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
