Torsten Enström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Callahan, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 6 minutes in the game, Damian Callahan dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Pascal Avalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Byström in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Adrian Murillo got a free kick in the 11th minute. Pascal Avalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Robertsson in the 12th minute of play. Dong Cheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Torsten Enström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Blåvitt's Folke Smitt got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Folke Lägdin got free with Pascal Avalos in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Sune Byström came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC Blåvitt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sune Byström couldn't finish the play. Torsten Enström came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by S.D. Bajen's Brent Cowan. But to his dismay, Brent Cowan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Herbert Tamminga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Pascal Avalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Tamminga got free with Pascal Avalos in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The FC Blåvitt players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.D. Bajen were winning 0-1.
The wind increased when Folke Lägdin made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fábio Queiroz hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Byström came free, but Pascal Avalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torsten Enström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dong Cheng in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Dong Cheng managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.D. Bajen's supporters rose to their feet, but Dong Cheng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Enström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Andy Robertsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.D. Bajen's Graham Diaz was substituted for Jorge Baez. After some careless play in the S.D. Bajen defense, Sune Byström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascal Avalos. The S.D. Bajen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascal Avalos should have stopped the shot. FC Blåvitt were furious when Leonardo Vidman was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 74 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's Darius Seals broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 78 minutes into the game, Herbert Tamminga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Pascal Avalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of FC Blåvitt booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darius Seals didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Herman Kihlberg came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC Blåvitt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herman Kihlberg couldn't finish the play. Sune Byström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Herbert Tamminga fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Blåvitt's protests and gave Herbert Tamminga a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes FC Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Tamminga. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Blåvitt fans cheered their team off the field, for while S.D. Bajen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
