Iuri Arruda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Jernberg's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Adrian Sillén had great luck who in the 15thth minute grab hold of the ball when Alberto Tróia from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 15thth minute of the game Alberto Tróia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oakcroft Thrashers's Adrian Sillén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrian Sillén made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Gugu Leme sent off a good shot on target. Jesper Browald hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Silvinho Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Adrian Sillén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gugu Leme. After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's César Severo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Adrian Sillén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute ATHLETICO PRaiano were awarded a corner. José Paulo Almeida went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that José Paulo Almeida got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adrian Sillén quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Alberto Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the ATHLETICO PRaiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tróia couldn't finish the play. In the 44th match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Jernberg to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gugu Leme to make the kick off. Chicão Vargas charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chicão Vargas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ATHLETICO PRaiano getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Adrian Sillén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tróia in the 60th minute of play. José Paulo Almeida hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Andreas Haglund, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alberto Tróia's late challenge caught a Oakcroft Thrashers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Tróia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, ATHLETICO PRaiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tróia to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Leme. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
