In the 2nd minute, Remond Zijden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denílson Negri took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfred Oevermans. Alfred Oevermans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nathan Wermans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfred Oevermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Baptista in the 9th minute of the match. Teun Otten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo de Brito having to interfere. Léo de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remond Zijden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Kasteelheren's Alfred Oevermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Baptista in the 21st minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Floresta Club U18's Eusébio Baptista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfred Oevermans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Remond Zijden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Léo de Brito made a huge save. Alfred Oevermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute José Vítor Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Oevermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Negri in the 44th minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Alfred Oevermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Henk Hoebe fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Kasteelheren's protests and gave Henk Hoebe a yellow card for diving instead. The De Kasteelheren players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Floresta Club U18 were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nathan Wermans to make the kick off. Nathan Wermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo de Brito having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goal looked a bit too open when Nathan Wermans came free, but Léo de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, De Kasteelheren's Alfred Oevermans got control of the ball when Denílson Negri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute Nathan Wermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marnix van Alst charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marnix van Alst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marnix van Alst hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Alfred Oevermans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denílson Negri in the 71st minute. Floresta Club U18 were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after De Kasteelheren's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guilherme Viana took the corner. In the 77th match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martien Meerdink to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Oevermans made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Denílson Negri sent off a good shot on target. De Kasteelheren's Alfred Oevermans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save De Kasteelheren from getting a goal against them. If Dino Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léo de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Wermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floresta Club U18's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
